Fantasy Football Week Twelve - Sit 'Em Down!!! - This Is Sports Zone

Another down week at 3-4 to but us behind the eight-ball at 38-42 for the season. Time to look onward and upward for fantasy football week twelve. Don’t forget to check out our Start ’em Up picks for week twelve if you haven’t already. And so we begin:

QB- Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings (Fanduel Price- $7900, DraftKings Price- $6900)

The Falcons are in a tailspin now, having lost four of their last five games. And while Ryan has still put up good numbers, I wouldn’t trust anyone taking on a Vikings team that is going to be looking for blood after losing to the Packers last week. At his current prices, Ryan just isn’t worth the risk.

QB- Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (FD- $6900, DK- $5200)

Tannehill is in the midst of yet another mediocre season, and he really hasn’t done much since his four touchdown explosion against the Texans in week seven. While the Jets defense has under-performed this year, I would not trust Tannehill after the defense just got a big wake up call in the release of Quentin Coples, the former first round pick who was just signed by Miami. You can do better this week.

RB- Lamar Miller, Miami at NY Jets (FD- $7200, DK- $6100)

Miller is another one I wouldn’t touch this week, he seemed poised for a breakout after the Texans game, and he did have a two touchdown performance in week 10, but the Jets are giving up the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing backs this year, and Miller only got 26 yards off them in week four.

RB- DeAngelo Williams, Pittsburgh Steelers at Seattle Seahawks (FD- $7100, DK- $5700)

In Williams two games since Le’Veon Bell was lost for the season, he exploded against the Raiders for 170 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and then had a dud against the Browns with only 54 rushing yards on 17 carries. This week he faces a Seahawks defense that is giving up the fewest fantasy points to backs this season, has only allowed three rushing touchdowns, and hasn’t allowed one 100 yard game this season. Don’t expect big things this week.

WR- AJ Green, Cincinnati Bengals vs. St Louis Rams (FD- $8200, DK- $7400)

Green’s been fairly quiet since he caught 11 passes for 118 yards and a score against the Steelers in week eight, and now he faces a Rams defense that hasn’t allowed a 100 yard receiver since week three and has only given up four touchdowns to receivers all year. Expect a dud this week.

WR- Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. San Diego Chargers (FD- $7900, DK- $7300)

The Chargers have only allowed two 100 yard days to receivers this season, and haven’t given up a touchdown since week seven, so this is not the week to play Robinson, who’s in the midst of a great season, but is due for a letdown having hit double-digit fantasy points every game wince week three.

WR- Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots (FD- $7500, DK- $6800)

Sanders was a late scratch in week eleven, and didn’t catch a pass in week ten, battling a high ankle sprain he suffered against the Colts in week nine. High ankle sprains usually take two-to-four weeks to heal and can be aggravated easily if one doesn’t allow it to heal properly, so the fact that he’s tried to play through it hasn’t helped anything. He’s listed as questionable this week, but don’t be surprised if the Broncos sit him down and tell him to wait another week.
