Lady Liberty— The New York Rangers brought the series back to the garden Thursday night for game 6. The Rangers overall played a very solid series, with excellent goaltending at points. Last night was a prime example of just how dominating their goaltending could be; as King Henrik Lundqvist pitched a shutout. Dominic Moore played the role of hero, as he was the only one who he was able to throw together any offense and put the puck past Dustin Tokarski. Let me just say congratulations to the Montreal Canadians on their playoff run, and give it up for Tokarski, who did a great job in the absence of Carey Price. Next up for the Rangers, is Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. We will await the winner of the West and then I will preview the Cup final series.

The Best of The West— The Kings and Blackhawks have had one helluva Western Conference Final so far, with the Kings getting the best of the Hawks to this point. Los Angeles has exploded offensively early in this series, scoring 4 goals in 4 of the 5 games they’ve played so far. They hold a 3-2 series lead with game 6 being played tonight in LA. In order for Chicago to make a comeback in this series, they need better goaltending from Corey Crawford, whose been too beatable thus far. Can LA keep producing a high powered offensive product to roll out and become a Western Conference Champion, or can the Chicago forwards, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp step up along with the defense, who will need to control a potent offensive product. Tune in tonight for game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.

Can the Kings close it out tonight, or will we wait for a game 7 to be the decider? All I can tell you is to buckle up, because it could get really exciting and to tune in to This Is SportsZone this weekend to find out who the became the Warriors of the West, and will move on to the Stanley Cup Finals.
