The New York Jets return from a bye week this Sunday as they face the Washington Redskins at Metlife Stadium. During the Jets impressive win over the Miami Dolphins in week three, defensive end Mohammad Wilkerson hurt his ribs, which was not made known to the public until Monday. Wilkerson had x-rays on his ribs that came back negative. However, he has been limited at practice the last two days while dealing with soreness. Overall, the Jets as a whole are a beat up roster with injuries both minor and major. The following were listed:

guard Willie Colon (knee), linebacker David Harris (quadriceps), running back Bilal Powell (groin), linebacker Jamari Lattimore (concussion), safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (knee) and wide receiver Chris Owusu (knee scope).

The Jets defensive line is officially whole again, with the reinstatement of suspended lineman, Sheldon Richardson. Richardson was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy for Marijuana. Richardson also has court hearings for an incident that happened back in his home state of Missouri where he was arrested for resisting arrest and fleeing from police. Richardson was said to have a 12-year old boy in the backseat, while evading the cops at 143 miles per hour. Police said that they also found a loaded hand gun in the car. Richardson still has to deal with his court cases for his charges, but one thing the Jets do know, is that he is healthy and raring to go. Richardson will be a good addition to the team, and the Jets should have an even more dominant line with Richardson then they did before.
