So far, we have been better at telling you who to avoid then we have been at picking the guys to start, with an 8-6 record through two weeks. Let’s keep the good vibes (or bad…depending on your point of view) rolling, as we look to fantasy football week three, it’s time to Sit ’em Down!!!

QB- Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills (Fanduel price- $8000, Draftkings- $6700)

Tannehill has actually done pretty good from a numbers standpoint through the first two weeks, but definitely not $8000 worth of good, especially not against a Bills defense that got embarrassed last week by Tom Brady and the Patriots. Tannehill is not Brady, and the Bills defense is going to going to dominate the Dolphins weak offensive line. Do not trust Tannehill, or Miami this week.

QB- Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots (FD- $6700, DK- $5100)

The quarterback who won in the battle for Florida. Another guy whose not going to come close to what he did last week. The Patriots defense is not spectacular, but it’s definitely better than what Bortles faced last week. Expect a big crash back to reality for the Jaguars, and Bortles is in for a long day up in Foxboro.

RB- Matt Forte, Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks (FD- $8400, DK- $7300)

I like Forte, and he might be the biggest name I’ve had on Sit ’em Down this season. But the reason is not just the fact that the Seahawks have the fourth best defense against running backs this year, or that the game is in Seattle, and the Seahawks should have their best game of the season in their home opener. It’s that Jimmy Claussen is now under center for the Bears, which takes the passing game out of the picture and puts the emphasis of the defense totally on Forte. Expect a forgettable stat line, and at those prices, he’s simply not worth it.

RB- Frank Gore, Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (FD- $7000, DK- $4500)

Gore has shown his age this season, and the Colts as a whole have been terrible through two games. Even worse, the Titans have the fifth best defense against running backs through two games. Expect a third straight stinker for Gore to begin his Colts career.

WR- Alshon Jeffrey, Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks (FD- $7500, DK- $6900)

Jeffery missed week two with a hamstring injury, so he’s no definite to play this week. But even if he does- Jimmy Claussen is now his quarterback. If you have him in yearly leagues, now might be the time to think about trading him.

WR- Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets (FD- $7100, DK- $6900)

Matthews has arguably been the best player on the Eagles offense through games this season, with 16 receptions, 182 yards and a touchdown through two games. But seeing as how he is the clear-cut top receiver in Philadelphia… all that means is he now has to go to Revis Island. Expect a let down.

WR- Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots (FD- $6600, DK- $5200)

He was a popular breakout candidate before the season and last week he proved why, with the big six receptions for 155 yards and two scores against the Dolphins. But things are going to be different in Foxboro this week against a real defense. He might not lay the egg he had in week one (one catch, 27 yards), but it’s definitely going to be closer to that than week two. Avoid him this week, but still expect a big season from the second year stud.
