It was a good week on Sit ’em Down, going 6-2 to now stand 22-18 after five weeks. With that, we begin:

QB- Matt Stafford, Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (Fanduel Price $8600)- He hasn’t exactly been the picture of consistency this season, and possibly without Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush this week, it probably won’t be easier this week. With two of his top weapons out I don’t expect Stafford to pass his numbers from last week (231 yards, one score).

QB- Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers at Cincinnati Bengals ($7900)- Against a Bengals defense that got embarrassed on the road last week, I expect Cam to disappoint in Cincinnati this week. Neither Newton or his number one receiver Kelvin Benjamin have been able to adjust to the double-teams the rookie now consistently receives, and as such neither is a solid start this week.

RB- Alfred Morris, Washington at Arizona Cardinals ($7600)- Now, I own Morris and Stacy in my keeper league, so I’m a big fan of both, but not this week. Morris hasn’t had a banner season, and the Cardinals defense is much better than it looked against the Broncos. With the Redskins weak offensive line, look or Morris to be grounded in Arizona.

RB- Zac Stacy, St Louis Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers ($7200)- It’s not just the Monday night matchup, it’s the fact that the Rams have no reason to rush him back after the way Benny Cunningham played after Stacy suffered a calf injury. For $7200, Andre Ellington is a much better play, and he’s $400 cheaper.

WR- Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings ($8600)- He’s been slowed by an ankle injury the last two weeks, only catching three passes during that time. Whether he plays or sits, he’s no longer startable until he can put his injury behind him.

WR- Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks ($8900)- Dez has come alive since a brutal game against the Niners, but against the Legion of Boom, I don’t expect much out of him this week. We’ve seen in the past Romo tend to focus more on the second receiver (in this case Terrance Williams) against tougher defenses, and with Richard Sherman trailed Dez on Sunday, if you only own one Cowboy receiver this week, it should be Williams, not Dez.

WR- Pierre Garcon, Washington at Arizona Cardinals ($7300)- In the past two weeks, Kirk Cousins has looked Garcon’s way only nine times, and against a Cardinals defense looking to rebound off a terrible showing against the Broncos, that probably won’t change this week. There’s better options available this week.

TE- Larry Donnell, NY Giants at Philadelphia Eagles ($6000)- Donnell was the breakout star of the Giants through the first four weeks of the season, but with Odell Beckham, Jr. back from injury last week, Donnell only received one target on the day. That might not change this week, as Beckham could be on the field much more than he was against the Falcons, plus the Eagles are in the top ten for fewest points allowed to the tight end. Pass.
