If you’ve made it to week sixteen in fantasy football, congrats!! If you’re in a Yahoo league, you’re likely in the finals, if you’re in an ESPN league you’re probably still in the semifinals, but either way, you’ve survived a grueling season and are hoping to cap it off with the championship. Last week we went 2-1 with our picks, and hopefully most of you played David Johnson and Ted Ginn, Jr last week given how they went off, moving to 61-66 this season. So now, we look to week sixteen in our first of two fantasy football finals editions of Start ’em Up, taking you through to the end of the season. Good luck to all!!

QB- Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions vs. San Francisco 49ers (Fanduel Price- $7600, DraftKings Price- $6100)

Despite a terrible start to the season, Stafford has turned on the gas big time over the last four weeks; with 12 touchdowns and over 1000 yards during that span, and only one interception. The 49ers defense may have played better recently, but can still be torched at any given moment, and if you’re counting on Stafford in Detroit for your finals week, you may be looking at bringing home the gold.

RB- Karlos Williams, Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys (FD- $5400, DK- $4500)

LeSean McCoy tore his MCL this past week and will probably miss the remainder of the season. While Williams has cooled off after his torrid start, losing carries to Mike Gillisiee due to a shoulder injury that caused him to miss week 13 and 14, if healthy Williams should still put up solid numbers for the price in daily leagues. Gillisiee is priced around the same too, and is worth a look, but if I have to choose one against a weak Cowboys defense, give me Williams this week.

WR- Jeremy Maclin, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns (FD- $6900, DK- $6000)

Maclin’s first season in Kansas City reuniting with Andy Reid has been a success by anyone’s criteria, with 79 receptions for 985 yards and six touchdowns on the year, and he’s scored double-digit fantasy points the last four weeks. Now, he gets a Browns defense that is giving up the fifth most fantasy points to receivers this season, and one that gave up three touchdowns last week to Seattle alone. Enjoy.
