We had another down week last week, 0-3, to put us at a poor 44-53 on a season that started out so strong. But now we turn to what is Finals week for those who are in Yahoo leagues, and semifinals week for those in ESPN leagues. Don’t forget to check out our Sit ’em Down column for the first part of Finals week, and check back next week for our week 17 picks.

QB- Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals (Fanduel Price- $8700, DraftKings Price- $7000)

Overall, this has been a down year for Rodgers and the Packers offense. Not counting his injury shortened year of 2013, he is in line for just his second season of under 4000 passing yards since he became a starter in 2008 and his lowest touchdown total since 2010, while his interceptions are up from a year ago. And while his team has played better of late, he still hasn’t thrown for over 300 yards in his last five games. Now he takes on the Cardinals defense, which generally plays better in Arizona. If the Packers win this game they will have to hope Eddie Lacy has a big game because the passing game may not be much help.

RB- Todd Gurley, St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks (FD- $8300, DK- $6200)

Gurley is the clear favorite for NFC Offensive Rookie of the Year, but lately he has been a tad inconsistent. in week’s 12 and 13 he combined for a mere 60 rushing yards against the Bengals and Cardinals, and in the last two weeks he exploded for 188 rushing yards and three touchdowns against the Lions and Buccaneers. Now he takes on the Seahawks defense that is giving up the fewest fantasy points to backs this season and hasn’t allowed over 50 yards to one since week 10. Don’t trust the rookie this week.

WR- AJ Green, Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos (FD- $7800, DK- $7100)

Green suffered a back injury in the warm ups before last Sunday’s game against the 49ers but still managed to play, only catching one pass out of three targets for 37 yards. With the Bengals playing on Monday night, Green should have no problem playing through it, but with AJ McCarron at quarterback and the Broncos defense the best in the league at limiting receivers in fantasy points this season, it’s probably best not to rely on Green this week if you don’t have to.
